Product Details
- You earn one reward WorldPoint for every dollar you spend on net retail purchases using the card – you do not need to carry a balance.
- You will be awarded 1,000 bonus WorldPoints after your first qualifying transaction2 and 1,000 bonus WorldPoints on your account anniversary1 as long as the account has active charging privileges.
- Upon activation of the card, you will be sent a WorldPoints Redemption Catalogue in the mail. For your convenience, you can redeem your WordPoints online at www.worldpoints.ca.
- A $29 annual fee will be charged per account. This fee covers the cost for both primary and secondary cards issued on your account.
- The Annual Interest Rate for the card is 19.99% as at June 20, 2006.
Redeeming your WorldPoints
- WorldPoint redemption can begin with as few as 1,000 WorldPoints for gift certificates at select retailers.
- Merchandise redemption starts at 2,500 WorldPoints.
 With the Manulife One reward, 9,500 WorldPoints can be redeemed for $84 to offset your Manulife One monthly administration fee (redemption code: WP2815). This currently represents six months of the standard $14 fee or 12 months of the $7 seniors’ discount fee.
- Redemption for travel (on major carriers with no blackout dates or airline frequent flyer restrictions) begins at 10,000 WorldPoints (=$100 credit toward flight cost) and can include anything else you can book through a travel agency (e.g. hotel, car rental, train).
