The Return of Premium with Early Surrender Option rider returns 100% of eligible premiums paid on or after the 15th coverage anniversary if you have never claimed a covered condition benefit under the associated Lifecheque coverage.*
This rider must be chosen when the Lifecheque coverage is issued.
For a coverage type change, you can add the Return of Premium with Early Surrender Option rider in effect at the same time of the change.

| When can the benefit be exercised? |
For Level coverage, the benefit can be exercised at any time on or after the 15th coverage anniversary, but prior to expiry.
For Permanent coverage, the benefit can be exercised any time on or after the 15th coverage anniversary but prior to the insured person’s 100th birthday (at which time the Age 100 benefit applies).
Requesting the benefit will cause your coverage to be terminated. | The benefit is available only at expiry of the Lifecheque coverage. | This benefit is available only on death. |
